Foundation Depth For Breeze Block Shed

I'll be using normal concrete blocks (440x215x100mm) the query i have is how deep should the foundations be. the ground type is muddy clay (!) as you start to go down. i've read somewhere the width of the foundation strip should be double the width of the block (i.e 200 mm), but the depth eludes me .. Im relocating a small garden building at home its about 6m x 3m. current construction consists of two rows of concrete blocks on the foundations, then wooden stud walls and an asbestos roof.. I have recently replaced a wooden shed with a block shed very similar to the one you propose. i erected/built mine on a slightly oversize (about 6inches all round) 'raft' foundation of 2ft x 2ft x 2inch paving slabs laid on clay - this also serves as the floor of the shed..
