Shed ramp: my garage was starting to get cramped so i decided i needed a shed for the lawn/garden equipment. i thought about building one but bailed and decided to purchase a 10’ x 14’ shed with 6’ wide doors from the nearby amish community. to not be a to.... When you've cut the 4x4s to length, lay them on the lip of the shed and mark the spots where the other ends touch the ground. dig a small trench, the full width of the lip of the shed, where the 4x4s will touch the ground. this will help to anchor the finished ramp in place and keep it from slipping away from the shed when under a heavy load.. I ended up with a variant of this when i went to build a ramp for my 10’x 8′ shed; i used the same blocks you did in the front ( they are concrete block “caps”, 16″x 8″x 4″ thick ) on a bed of all-purpose gravel and opted for 2″x 6″ ground contact treated stringers cut at 48″..
