I have built over 500 kit sheds sold in various retailers. the sheds aren’t bad quality, expect to get 10-15 years out of them. as for my own shed, i found blueprints online and built the shed myself. it is no way cheaper to do it this way, you are going to up-build your shed if you don’t get it from a kit.. Permits for shed build? so we’re looking at building a small shed, about 8x8 or 8x6 probably in the back corner of our yard. does anyone know if the city of lansing would require a zoning or building permit for this? thanks for any information. hi reddit! i have a black cat named arthur. he's supposed to be an inside cat, but today while. 635 votes and 68 comments so far on reddit.

Buying shed from a “shed” company advantages. time a huge advantage of buying a pre-built shed is time. it’s already built! all you have to do is prepare a foundation for it to sit on, schedule delivery and fill it up. it may be ready to deliver the day you buy it, or it could take a couple of weeks.. Windows took extra measuring because i couldn’t find shed windows that matched plans. ended up using single hung windows from lowe’s. once built i laid them out to side. (couldn’t raise yet because i needed floor space for truss construction) now onto the trusses. built a gable jig right on shed floor..
